Creature Supercharges Its Strategic Brand Consultancy, White Crow

White Crow adds design function to its offer, launches strategic AI tool, Impala and promotes Josh Dickins to head of consultancy.

Creature’s strategic brand consultancy, White Crow has supercharged its offer in response to increased client demand.

The specialist agency has added an award-winning design function. Led by Head of Design, Tim Green, the teams experience covers almost all sectors and has delivered work for brands including Penguin, NBC Universal, Unilever, Samsung, Heineken and Coca-Cola. This new design function will live at the intersection between advertising, brand and content creation. It will create and re-energise brands, delivering everything from complete brand creation and visual identity to website design, motion, and social content.

Alongside this new design function, White Crow has created a bespoke strategic AI tool. Impala is an AI-driven strategic engine that can help marketing and brand leaders get from a blank page to market-tested propositions within in a week and help them make strategic leaps that will redefine their businesses.

Andrew Gibson, director and founder of White Crow said, “When we launched White Crow in 2018, we knew that we were offering something new that would resonate with business and brand leaders. So, it is exciting to be in a position to grow our offer even further off the back of 5 years of success for brands such as Brit Insurance, Woodland Trust and Moonpig. Introducing a design function built into White Crow will enable us to make our work even more compelling, delivering brand worlds and design systems built from our strategic propositions and Impala means we can further embed and create excitement around change within organisations.”

Finally, off the back of his award-wining work on Merlin Entertainments, Brit Insurance and Moonpig, Josh Dickins has been promoted to Head of Consultancy at White Crow. Reporting to Andrew Gibson, Josh will be responsible for leading on all White Crow projects, developing a brand’s vision, and finding strategic solutions that enable business transformation.

Josh Dickins, head of consultancy, White Crow adds, “The old adage is that your brand is what customers say about you when you’re out of the room, but we think that’s only half the story. It’s also about what people say and do, in the board room, the staff room and on the shop floor, when working together. Over the past five years at White Crow we’ve helped ambitious clients see their brand as more than a marketing function alone. To use it as an incredibly powerful lever that encourages people to think and act differently, both inside and outside organizations, and to get them excited about doing things differently too.”

The investment comes off the back of several recent appointments such as The Woodland Trust, Home Instead, Aspen Insurance and National Express and coincides with a renewed focus on new business and super-charging the agency for future growth.

Dan Cullen-Shute, CEO and Founder of White Crow ends, "We've always prided ourselves on our ability to offer our clients nose-to-tail partnership, and since we launched it back in 2018, White Crow has played a fundamental part in that. In recent times, we've seen client desire for commercially focused strategic brand work increase, and White Crow is growing with it: we've got the best designers in the business, the smartest people and tech around, and we couldn't be more excited about the difference this will make to the brilliant folk we work with."
